Chelsea Campbell, Regional Fire Protection Manager - London & South East, has achieved her highly-coveted IFE Level 3 Certificate in Passive Fire Protection, while Phil Nuttall, Technical Solutions & Fire Protection at Encon Birmingham, has completed his Level 2 qualification.
Developed by The Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), the professional qualifications are regulated by Ofqual and cover key knowledge and understanding required by those working in a significant area for our industry.
Chelsea joined Encon in July 2023 and applies her learning to support our branches and customers in the region. Chelsea comments: “I’m very proud to have completed my IFE Level 3 course. Fire protection is a vital area for construction and it’s important to have the right competence so we can assist customers and colleagues effectively.”
Phil’s Level 2 certificate demonstrates a solid foundation of knowledge to support customers’ projects at Encon Birmingham, one of our 10 specialist fire protection branches. Phil adds: “It’s very important for my branch and for the whole business to further develop employees in all sectors, including Fire Protection. It adds value to the service we offer and reassures customers we have qualified people in specialist fields.”
Neville White, Business Development Director – Fire Protection, concludes: “We constantly look to strengthen our fire protection business, whether that be recruiting talent or developing the existing team with recognised qualifications. A huge well done to Chelsea and Phil on successfully completing their IFE qualifications. These courses really push individuals on their knowledge and understanding and on driving best practice in building safety. It’s a very high achievement and one that enables us to provide the outstanding service our customers have come to expect.”
