In the latest instalment of our Passive Fire Protection Specialist interviews, Gary Burgess talks us through how he supports customers in his role as Internal Sales and Passive Fire Protection Specialist at the branch…

“Recently I had the opportunity to catch up with many of my customers and suppliers at our Burning Wisdom Fire Protection Showcase held at our North West branch. It was a fantastic chance to get together in person to strengthen that connection, as well as develop our collective passive fire protection knowledge."
“Insightful seminars by the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP), Laing O’Rourke and Promat opened a lot of eyes about regulations and best practices, particularly relating to new legislation such as the Building Safety Act. The event was concluded by Neville White, our Business Development Director for Fire Protection, outlining how a trusted distributor partner can add value."
“Gathering key industry figures at events like this helps to start important conversations around fire safety and builds competency in our industry, something I’m really passionate about. I continually build on my own knowledge by attending training with manufacturers including Promat, Rockwool, Quelfire and Kemwell PFP and immersing myself in the industry by speaking to decision-makers at all levels. Customers appreciate this commitment to my ongoing development and know they can rely on my support.”
