Triumph House is a new 270-bed student accommodation and a conversion of Lambert House on Talbot Street in Nottingham, the former home of Experian.
Located a stone’s throw away from Nottingham Trent University’s main campus, the new accommodation offers ‘luxury living’ for students with a wellness spa, sauna, steam room, gym and yoga studio included as part of the communal areas.
Contractor WD Drywall required a selection of interior systems for the exclusive project and worked with Encon & Nevill Long Nottingham for the supply of Knauf drywall products. These included Knauf Soundshield Plus and Knauf Fire Panel high-performance boards, and all accompanying metal sections. For the complete installation, Knauf Insulation Acoustic Rolls were also delivered.

The apartments needed to be ready for students in the new Academic year, so the project had a specific schedule for completion. Michelle Barlow, Business Unit Manager - Nevill Long, Nottingham says the strong working partnership between Encon, Knauf and WD Drywall was testament to keeping the project on track: “Our collaborative relationship ensured the materials were delivered on time, and most importantly to the tight delivery schedules.”
Danny Walsh, Estimator at WD Drywall adds: “Encon was a pleasure to work with on this project. From dealing with Steven Higgins in the sales team pre-contract, to getting all our orders arranged with Michelle, they really provided a fantastic service and went above and beyond and delivered past our expectations. It was a challenging programme and with help from Encon, the whole team were able to exceed the client’s requirements. Thanks again to the Nottingham team.”
