Designed by Weedon Architects, Potato Wharf in Manchester offers 191 luxury apartments a short walk from the city centre. Being set within a vibrant city centre and next to a railway and metro line, the best possible sound isolation products were necessary for the interiors of the apartments.
SCS Building Solutions required a range of interior products with excellent acoustic properties for the Potato Wharf residential complex. Working with our Leeds branch, a range of Knauf drywall products were supplied, including the Knauf Isolator System, designed to divide habitable dwellings and reduce sound transmission. To complement the system, Knauf’s high performance plasterboards and the Knauf MF Suspended Ceiling System were also supplied to the project.
Knauf AQUAPANEL® Cement Board Indoor was another product supplied to the project by our Leeds branch for use in the bathrooms. Being a tough, impact and water resistant glass-fibre reinforced cement board it provides a solid tile backing substrate for wet and humid indoor areas.
