Gyproc Fire Mortar is a gypsum-based compound suitable for areas where there are multiple penetrations or where a load bearing seal is required. When combined with water, the compound forms either a trowel-applied paste or a pourable mortar, ideal for sealing around multiple service penetrations in floor applications. As it cures, the mortar expands to create a secure, tight seal against the surrounding substrate.
Tested to reinstate the fire resistance performance of flexible/rigid walls and rigid floor constructions where they are penetrated by service penetrations. It can be used to provide a load bearing seal in rigid floors that can accommodate light foot traffic for maintenance purposes.
