ThistlePro DuraFinish is an extra hard-wearing finish plaster that resists impact to keep walls in high traffic areas damage free for longer, cutting maintenance costs. It is a gypsum finish plaster that provides a smooth, inert and high quality surface to internal walls and ceilings, as well as a durable base for applying decorative finishes.

Use it for the finishing of a wide range of backgrounds, from low-suction (e.g. Gyproc plasterboards, Glasroc F MultiBoard, Glasroc F FireCase, Rigidur H (pre-treated with Thistle GypPrime), Thistle DriCoat, sufficiently flat concrete) through to the medium-to-high suction of gypsum or cement based undercoat plasters. Most backgrounds which normally require a bonding agent to provide adhesion can be directly plastered with ThistlePro DuraFinish (e.g. moisture resistant plasterboards, cast in-situ concrete, previously plastered surfaces), provided they are clean, sound and reasonably dry.

This is a retarded hemihydrate, pre-mixed gypsum plaster. Stored correctly, this product has a shelf life of four months, and bags are marked with a use by date so you can use them in strict rotation.
