“We stock an extensive range from trusted passive fire protection brands, including Rockwool, Promat, PFC Corofil, Tenmat, British Gypsum, Kemwell and Quelfire so we can cater to the needs of every customer. Our support includes providing customers with access to the required technical data from our manufacturer partners, who play an important role in training our teams.
“I throw myself into training as much as I can to develop my product knowledge, particularly visiting manufacturers to get hands-on experience and installing the materials so I can better understand the challenges our customers face daily. I can often be found reading product data sheets to make sure I am familiar with the complexities of different properties and applications!”

“Working closely with branch colleagues to tap into their expertise in other specialist areas, such as interiors or technical insulation is also important, as well as feedback from our external teams following customer visits, giving us a three-dimensional understanding of customer and project needs.
“Further afield, Neville White, our Business Development Director for Fire Protection has been incredibly generous in passing on his vast knowledge in passive fire protection. I try to immerse myself in the industry and learn from experts, whether that’s speaking to Neville or attending industry events led by our trade bodies. My ambition is to continually develop my knowledge by learning from those around me and completing professional qualifications. That way, customers can be reassured they are supported with up-to-date knowledge and in turn, relationships are strengthened.”
