The TTIHR is designed to restrain the top of the inner leaf of cavity walls and allows vertical movement between the inner leaf and the structure by using a rectangular sleeve which wits in the vertical joint and a top section bolted to the soffit designed to slide within the sleeve. A welded flange at the bottom assists with embedment into the horizontal mortar joint.
