British Gypsum Gyproc Fire Cord

Intended to be used around service penetrations with small gaps.

Applications

• Pipe and cable penetrations where they pass through fire resisting constructions in walls and floors.
• Service penetrations where the gap around the service is very small or difficult to access
• Service penetrations where other firestopping products cannot be used - for example, a fire rated sealant which requires a specified depth
• Areas that may require the solution to be reworked for access reasons. The putty does not harden so can be reworked as required.
