Nevill Long Interior Systems is a specialist distribution division of The Encon Group and over the last two years, our Thetford branch has developed in a few key areas, mirroring its successful progress in the region. This includes investment in its site and range and widening its portfolio of customers. Branch Director Vikky Ranns explains more.
“Our branch is achieving sustainable growth as we continue to meet customer and branch needs. Key milestones have included a total redevelopment of our warehouse and yard, expansion of our fleet and increasing our team from three to 12.
“Investment in the branch has also allowed us to scale up our outstanding service to new and existing customers across an even wider catchment area. By recruiting and training staff at the right times, we have been able to strengthen our service and knowledge and reinforce our Group’s overall position as ‘The Distributor of Choice’.
“An area we are extremely proud of is our customer-oriented approach and going above and beyond to deliver an unrivalled service. For collections or for contractors wanting to talk to a member of our team about their project needs, our trade counter is now open from 7:30am. The Thetford team represents over 60 years of combined experience, which enables us to respond to a wide range of customer enquiries and provide meaningful support at every stage of the project.
“However, it is a challenging and competitive market, and as the branch continues to establish itself, it’s vital our customer focus and branch needs remain strongly at the forefront of our minds. We will continue to adapt, expand our choice of products and systems, maintain strong relationships with our suppliers and be flexible to customer and project requirements. Our location in Thetford places us at the heart of East Anglia, with excellent transport links, so we can provide a reliable and efficient delivery service to contractors across Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.”
Vikky Ranns has worked in the interiors sector for over 30 years and her career has progressed through various roles - from Office Junior to Sales Coordinator, Office Manager, Assistant Manager, and now Branch Director. Vikky concludes:
