This partitioning system is non-load bearing and it can be constructed to provide both 30 minute fire resistance and good levels of sound attenuation.
Longline 75 partitioning has a 94mm nominal footprint depending upon performance requirements. Comprising a galvanised steel stud framework forming 1200mm wide modules, it is faced with either single or double layers of 12.5mm thick gypsum plasterboard.
The cavity can be used for electrical or data communication services and infilled with insulation material to enhance the acoustic performance. Plasterboard faces can be decorated with a wide selection of wall coverings.
For both non-fire-rated and half hour fire-rated construction, snap-in PVC glazing components are available in white, black or grey to achieve single centre, single offset or double glazing configurations. Glass manifestations or interstitial horizontal blinds can be incorporated to satisfy aesthetic or privacy requirements.
