Knauf has assured that any orders already placed for render will be honoured and any projects that are currently ongoing will still receive any required support from Knauf UK & Ireland. See below some further information to explain the discontinuation:
Why are Knauf UK & Ireland removing render?
Knauf is committed to providing excellent service levels and support for all products supplied. Due to the structure of the render business this is something Knauf is unable to consistently maintain.
If I have already installed render will my warranty still be valid?
Yes, if you have installed render and can provide documentation to show that the render was purchased before January 1st 2024, any warranty issued will be honoured.
Will you still offer render training from the UK?
All training will cease from 1st January 2024, when Knauf UK will no longer sell render.
Will the BBA currently covering render still be valid?
The BBA will still stand for the AQUAPANEL® Cement board outdoor. Please see BBA certificate 09/4633.
Will AQUAPANEL® render still be available?
AQUAPANEL® render will still be available as part of the AQUAPANEL® exterior system.
Can I get any Knauf UK render samples?
From January 1st 2024 Knauf UK will no longer provide any render samples.
