Acoustic floor insulation, also referred to as separating floor insulation, is installed to prevent noise transmission - both airborne noise and impact noise - between floors of a building and between residential/office units.
Deciding on the right soundproofing material for the floor will depend on the structure of a building. We supply glass mineral wool, rock mineral wool and open-cell foam insulation, from leading insulation manufacturers that offer floor insulation slabs and boards which are denser than rolls. These slabs dramatically reduce sound transmission and prevent noise between floors.
