Environmental certification

We are certified to ISO 14001:2015 through UKAS accredited certification body Alcumus ISOQAR, using an integrated management system with ISO 45001:2018.

Our commitment to the environment

To truly make a difference, we are always looking for ways to improve our environmental performance in all aspects of our operations and activities. This includes meeting applicable legal requirements and other standards and obligations, as well as maintaining good relations with all regulatory bodies.

We also aim to minimise our impact on the environment and prevent pollution by monitoring and reviewing performance in the following areas:

• Air quality where activities may have an adverse effect
• Waste reduction and recycling
• Reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions
• Improving the efficiency of the vehicle fleet
• Reducing or limiting the production of pollutants to water, land and air
• Controlling noise emissions from operations
• Minimising the risk to the general public and employees from our operations and activities

The environment is everyone’s responsibility

We recognise that all employees at every level of the company have a role to play in achieving our environmental objectives and improvements.

Training is available to all employees to help ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and the role they can play in helping the company to reduce our environmental impact.

In addition, we also work with our customers and suppliers to minimise our environmental impact throughout the supply chain.
